Our camping trip to Diamond Fork

The wife and I decided to go on a little camping trip the other day and here is a little inside peak onto our expereince.

This is just after we set up camp. Just a man, his grill, and his tent. Ain't nothing manlier than that.
Kristen must of had a little rumble in the old tummy when we saw this cute little rabbit because...
She tried to kill it and eat it!!!!!!!!!!

This is Kristen while eating the bunny. Just joking, this is her demonstrating her famous talent, stuffing grapes under your upper lip and holding them there with no hands for as long as you can. I love that trick, it's a classic and I am proud to say that MY WIFE is the the best in the west!!

A man in his element, need I say more.

We took a little hike up a nearby hill. You can see our campsite if you look close. The hike was actually a lot harder than anticipated because it was a very steep and rocky hill.

A man thinking about the long road ahead of him in life. All I got to say is "Life is a highway, I want to ride it all night long." Yeah baby.

I don't know who that person is with the grapes, because I know it wasn't me... that was too scary:)
I loved our camping trip and love to sleep under the stars with my wonderful hubby.

The man in his element looked a little girly to me . . .

Looks like a fun trip!

A little girly, I'll agree with Mark. Now, if you were cooking over a fire like a real man, that would be a different story! Just kidding, Goose. I am so impressed with your camping gear. I guess I am just jealous because we don't have a nice grill like that to camp with...

Kristen, I'll have to try the grape trick. Maybe I'll get good enough to challenge you to a competition. But I won't let anybody take pictures! :) You know I love ya! Looks like a great time.

I won't lie, the grill isn't ours. Our stake has a calling called the camping specialists and the can lend stuff out. The stake has like 3 or 4 of those grills. They are way nice.

Camping is much fun (Matt and I did some last summer and had a great time, except for one hailstorm). Looks like you and Kristen were nicely geared out for your trip, too. Your post is making me look forward to getting out in the Free Nature again sometime when I'm NOT eight months pregnant (perhaps next summer?). Thanks for sharing, and we'll be seeing you this weekend!

Hey, Drew. Looks like fun. And I'm so impressed with Kristen's grape-stuffing ability! I hope you guys have fun at the sand dunes on Monday.

It was fun seeing you in Denver and and lucky for us we'll be seeing you again in a few weeks. Thank you for testing out your camping gear. I'm glad it works and that you'll be comfortable camping in our backyard. Kristen may use our restrooms. :)I'm just kidding. We are planning on having you sleep indoors.

Look to me like Kristen was beating off the beastly rabbit with a couple of twigs.

What a manly woman!!

Enjoyed having you guys here....wish it could have been for longer. (I need the lawn mowed!!)
