A Winter Hike

Kristen and I decided to go on a little hike up Rock Canyon a few weeks ago and I wanted to share a few pictures. We were inspired for a few reasons, but mainly because of my church history class (Ask me about it sometime and I would love to share). Anyway, here are the pictures.

A little Wendy's to get us ready. We love a good Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger!!! I mean who doesn't.

The man himself.

Kristen got a little crazy and decided to jump.

Luckily it was a soft landing. It just took her a few minutes to get out.

We told you we went to rock canyon but we actually went to the top of Mt. Everest. This is at the Hillary Step. I know all you climbing buffs will know what I'm taking about.

Another veiw from the Hillary Step.

A look down ffrom the Hillary Step. We realized that blazing our own trail through 4 feet of snow just wasn't worth it. Plus our feet were cold!!

We finally made it back to the trail and Kristen let me know how she feels about leaving the trail. I wanted to try again but she wouldn't have it.

That was our little adventure. I hope you liked it. Yes this was my first blog in a while, but I'm back baby.

It was a great hike. BUT I will have you know, I was not the one who decided to turn around:)
Although, I did think it was the best choice.
Now we will hike it without snow!

Goose--

Great pictures. Looks like a lot of fun, although I must say you look pretty cold! (Maybe it's the shorts...I don't know!)

Please post more pictures soon...I mean don't let the lack of comments be a deterrent. give the family a second chance!

Guzy,
Would you like a little cheese with that whine? Welcome to my world of no replies to brilliant insights and observations on life.

You hike sounds like it was an adventure. Not real smart with the shorts thing in the snow.

I would ask for your forgiveness in the shortness of replies but I have just gotten used to noone posting anything so I don't look as much as I used to and besides you never reply to mine either. I shall repent and begin posting and replying to posts.

Nice hike, Guz.

Now I'm looking forward to your next semi-annual entry. Give me consistency, Goose. Give me frequency. Give me some reciprocity. Then you can demand my more conscientious patronage.
